Exceptional monitor. Happy customer. 😎 Very happy with this purchase. My cat knocked over my old Dell 24″ LCD monitor and the warranty expired two months before, I did not wanna pay for another low quality monitor. I work from home most weekends so this was an emergency. Since I had some money left on my Amazon Gift Card, I used that to buy this monitor. I used this monitor at my former job except I think it had to be a 19″, it also had an HDMI port. This one does not, but because it comes with the VGA cord and the largest white cord, I easily plugged it into my docking station and after fiddling with the screen resolution it works perfectly. I am okay with the fact that it does not tilt. I have no complaints about the resolution. A lot of reviews seem to be nitpicking about the tilt and resolution but instead of being cheap… Just search for a monitor that tilts and has good resolution. Reading is fundamental.

Acer: Cheap products and poor customer service I ordered this monitor for my home desktop thinking it was a good value because it had good reviews, but I have been very disappointed with it as well as its “3 year warranty.” Probably 3-4 months after I started using this monitor, an entire row of pixels got messed up somehow. Nothing dropped on the monitor or spilled, just a mechanical failure of some kind. This is the exact sort of thing a free warranty should cover, so I contacted Acer customer service. What a joke that was. I spent an hour with someone who barely understood English in a chat window on my computer, and he finally told me that my monitor would be covered. I was elated, for about 5 seconds before he told me they would cover the repairs if I sent them the monitor and paid around $200 dollars. Where I come from, that doesn’t mean “covered.” They wanted $200 dollars to repair a ~$100 monitor, and it should have been covered by warranty in the first place. Needless to say I will probably never…
